About Me

My name is Jonathan Arban and I'm a native San Franciscan that graduated from The Art Institute of Calfornia - San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

I'm currently a Designer at MSA architecture + design specializing in retail, workplace and hospitality design.  My primary functions include collaborating with clients, consultants, and in-house team members in generating design presentations, assisting in selecting and coordinating materials, finishes, furniture, and fixture specifications, and assisting in production of interior design documentation and detailing.  I have also been a great asset to their 3D rendering capabilities by exploring new ways to present our design intentions to our clients through edited video presentations and 3D fly-throughs.

My most recent achievement was leading a stage design team in creating a large backdrop using 3d projection mapping software for a centennial celebration program of a non-profit religious organization group, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ).  This project involved a lot of research in 3d projection mapping, detailing of panels/platforms, and coordination with all the contractors involved in this project.  Within 4 months time, our team was able to maintain a strict building schedule and stay under budget.
